Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in merchandising, sales, customer service or related industry experience.

Tasks: Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff; Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.); Supervise office and volunteer staff; Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules; Authorize payments and the return of merchandise; Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages; Organize and maintain specified inventory; Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters; Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance; Conduct performance reviews; Ensure the visual standards and image of the work area are maintained clean and orderly; Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions; Sell merchandise; Manage cash; May perform the same duties as workers supervised; May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints and providing feedback for marketing strategies.
Supervision: 3-4 people; Retail salespersons and sales clerks; Staff in various areas of responsibility
